Praying For My Church:
- Pray that my church will become all that Jesus desires it to be.
- What does God desire His church to be? Ask God for His vision.
- The following questions could serve as a partial guide to evaluate the church’s effectiveness. Then pray the promises of scripture for your church.
- Is it a house of prayer? (Matthew 21:13)
- Is it a place where people enter with thanksgiving and praise? (Psalm 100:4)
- Is there worship in spirit and in truth? (John 4:24)
- Do hurting people get healed? (Luke 9:1-2)
- Are broken relationships being reconciled? (Matt. 5:24)
- Are those in bondage being set free? (Luke 4:18)
- Is the good news being preached? (Luke 4:18)
- Are disciples of Jesus Christ being made? (Matt. 28:19-20)
- Is the church in unity? (Psalm 133:1)
- Do the people exhibit brokenness and humble hearts? (Psalm 51:17)
