Praying For Our Spiritual Leaders

Pray for their SPIRITUAL needs:
  • Pray for spiritual freshness as they devote themselves to prayer and God’s word.
  • Pray for their intimate daily walk with God.
  • Pray for them to know the unconditional love of the Father and freedom in Jesus.
  • Pray that they will put on the spiritual armor daily, that they will recognize spiritual warfare issues, and that God will protect them from the evil one spiritually, physically, mentally, personally, emotionally, practically.
  • Pray for discernment and sensitivity to what is pleasing to God.
Pray for their PERSONAL needs:
  • Pray for their health and safety.
  • Pray that their families will grow in the Lord.
  • Pray that they would be godly husbands or wives if they are married.
  • Pray that their children will walk in God’s ways, if they have children.
  • Pray for joy, peace, and victory in ministry in spite of difficulties, pressures, circumstances, and people.
Pray for their MINISTRY needs:
  • Pray that they will boldly share Christ by His spirit motivated by God’s love.
  • Pray for clear proclamation of the gospel by words and by life.
  • Pray for godly wisdom and discernment in all contacts, decisions, and divine appointments.
  • Pray for them to be equipped and empowered by God’s Spirit in their calling and gifting.
  • Pray for them to receive God’s grace when they are tempted to be too hard on themselves or others.
  • Pray for encouragers who will minister to them.
  • Pray that God will keep them true to their God-given purpose in ministry and that God will guard and prioritize their time for the important, without getting sidetracked by the urgent.
